To Curaçao:

Air Companies
We are not able to give you any flight information. Not that we don't want to, but there are so many changes in this industry that it would not be of any value. In this region and especially The Netherlands Antilles companies are changing, stop flying, loose their permit to fly between the islands or change their routes constantly.
If you need a connection between the islands, Insel Air is probably the best choice at the moment, but it was DAE a couple of months ago and it can be something else next week.
We did gather some information when we started preparing the tournament, but before we could publish the website most of that information was outdated.

We strongly advise you to check at your local airport or with your traveling agency. They always can give you the most recent possibilities.

Airport taxes
Same story here. At the moment it is $32,-. But they have been changed three times since we started preparing...

Airport transfer
Most hotels on Curaçao do not automatically pick up their customers or do not provide this service at all.
We have made arrangments with a local company to transfer you from the airport to your hotel on arrival and form the hotel to the airport on the day of your departure.
A hostess will be waiting for you at the airport with the sign "Bridge Tournament".

Important
For your transfer we need your full flight information, including arrival and departure date, time and flight numbers. If you have made your reservations at one of the four hotels listed on this website and via our department of reservations, you will receive an e-mail in April. In this e-mail you will be asked to check the information we already have and to provide us with possible missing information.
Please react to this e-mail as soon as possible. Correct and full information means a transfer at the right time and place and a room without problems.

For some countries special documents may be required.

On Curaçao

Car Rental
In the menu you will find a car rental button for Avis. You can make reservations online. There are other car rentals on the islands, but only Avis gives you a 10% discount for this tournament.

Taxi
If you are planning to explore the island you will be better of with a rental car. Going out for dinner or just visiting the Seaquerium a taxi will do just fine, although it is not cheap. Please do note that we have selected restaurants and tours that we will offer during the tournament for special prices, including transfers.
