• 19-05-2007 The first session of the zonal Open Pairs was won by Joseph Boulogne & Dominique Gerin from Guadeloupe. The second session brought victory to the Dutch couple Monique & Jan Mulder.
  First pair to qualify is Jean-Pierre Bouveresse & Philippe Mathieu.
   
• 18-05-07 Of course the results page(s) and the daily bulletins page are now activated. You will find a link to the latest results / bulletin on our home page. Older/full results and bulletins you can find via the corresponding pages in the menu.
   
• 16-05-2007 All received convention cards have been uploaded. This may seem rather late, but except for one or two cards earlier and the cards for Venezuela that we received last week, we received all cards from Mr. McGregor on May 14th and 15th.

• 02-05-2007 Small changes have been made to several pages. We received a question about awarding master points. Mr. Tony Watkins from the CACBF provided us with all the information. A page with this information has been added to the menu.

• Special Bridge rates for Floris Suite Hotel are no longer available, because they can no longer block the rooms.
  Due to the same cause, the room rates for the Marriott Hotel can vary per day.
  All four hotels can no longer guarantee the availability of rooms. The Hilton Hotel & The Clarion Hotel guarantee the original room rates on availability.

  Avis Curaçao offers special rates for our guests.

• Did you know that we have set up a complete program for you and your partner?
  Near the playing area there will be several information desks where bridge players and non-players can book different tours, lunches and dinners, even for large groups and including transfer from hotel to location v.v.
  A lot of restaurants will offer special bridge-arrangements.
  Groups will be accompanied by a hostess to make sure everything turns out just fine.
  No need waiting for a cab to find out in the end there is no room available at the restaurant of your choice. Just go to the desk and tell us what you are looking for.
  Dive trip for you and your partner? No problem. At the desk they will inform you about the most beautiful sites and your trip will include all necessary equipment and transfer.

• We are working very hard to make sure that we have live registration for important matches.
  That means that 'those who are left behind....' will be able to visit Bridge Base Online to watch the most important games live. Not sure yet, but maybe there will be Vu Graph possibilities near the playing site as well.
  
  However, we are still looking for some people who are able to help us with live registration. People with a laptop computer and willing to kibitz a game and upload the played tricks to BBO. You must be an experienced bridge player to do this and we are willing to pay a reasonable fee.... Imagine: sitting first row at the finals....Nice job!

• Did you know that: we have two famous Dutch players assisting with BBO and the Daily Bulletin?
  Bridger Onno Eskes will be in charge of the BBO section while Jan van Cleeff will be in charge of the Daily Bulletin. And Jan will bring his partner too, Elisabeth van Ettinger who has a lot of experience in photographing bridge players.
  So be at your best. We will be!

  If you made reservations via our website, do not forget to inform us about your flight number & date!
  If you made reservations on your own or at a different location, be aware that not all accommodations will pick you up at the airport.
  We have a professional organization ready to pick you up at the airport, no matter what time, no matter the number of players. Just email us your flight number and date and we will make sure to bring you to your hotel. And of course we will make sure you will be at the airport in time on your return date as well!
